The game is a big success in the west, japan and worldwide (ratings and sales figures).

It sucks that such a great game doesnt set the world on fire, sales wise.
It should be much higher.

Thats fantastic news!P5 ended up being the best selling Persona and Shin megami tensei game by far! This game deserves all these sales and more.Hell, if it were to be eventually ported to the Switch, the game would easily reach 3 million units sold.

Grow my child, grow!Nyahahahhahahhahahahah!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

2 million seems low compared to games like God of War, but not so long ago 2 million was considered A LOT.

So congrats to the devs

Regardless of how you feel, Persona is a B class franchise. These sales are phenomenal. There are other B and C class that wish they could have a quarter of those sales.

I picked it up last week and glad I did. It has filled the gap of good turn based RPG I needed after Final Fantasy decided not to play like it has for 20 years and go a different route.

Hmm, pie.

I do love Persona, but honestly I'm just glad there's a turn-based RPG (that's not Pokemon) that is experiencing major global success.

Great to hear considering what an amazing game it is.
