Well at least they release games at all. Third parties just wont do PS4 like numbers on the Switch. Maybe a few indies can do that, but not bigger 60$ games.

Since when does a game on the Switch need to sell as well as the PS4 version? As long as it makes a profit, there is reason to port over.Just look at bethesda and EA for example. Both released 60 dollar games and enjoyed success, even when they were late ports or inferior versions.Imagine if then companies started releasing their games day and date on the Switch. Not to mention that you need to built a fanbase on the system to start having more success.Bethesda knows this. And yet Capcom, a company that is already very well know by Nintendo fans( and MH having flourished on Nintendo platforms) dosent know these things I just said?

For as much as I am loving all the recent games they have been releasing, Capcom management can be very incopetent sometimes.

EA is not supporting the Switch anymore and Bethesda seems a bit disappointed with the sales. Since they said they might do more Switch ports if it makes sense. Sounds very much like a WiiU excuse to me. They don't NEED to do PS4 numbers, but unless it can come kinda close it wont be a priority.

I'm not making it up. You really don't remember EA saying they aren't supporting the Switch?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/169309-EA-Has-no-Switch-Games-Planned-After-FIFA

and why would Bethesda say that they MAY release more Switch games if they were very happy with the sales?

The article about EA you linked is from January 18th 2017, five days after the Switch presentation, it’s not accurate anymore.

As for Bethesda, if you take the whole interview, they’re not saying they may release their game or not, but if from a technological point of view they can release the game on the platform. What they said is “if we can we will, if we can’t we wont”.

Well the Switch has more than proved itself and EA couldn't even be bothered to put a remastered game from 2008 on it.

I guess we`ll see how many Switch games EA and Bethesda will reveal at E3.

This is the quote from the article you linked:

"We are not announcing anything [else] yet, but you can expect us to be there once the platform launches and takes off."

They did not say they werent going to continue supporting Switch, they said they had nothing to announce at the moment and if Switch sales take off they would increase support.

As for Bethesda, the article i linked says this:

"A game like Doom or Skyrim or Wolf II that there is an audience for those games on those consoles. We’ve seen that so far. Nintendo’s been really pleased obviously, and we didn’t have a crystal ball to know, ‘Oh this will definitely their best-selling thing’, but we saw it early, we felt like there was something we could support and our games would resonate, and they have, and obviously Nintendo’s crushing it with their hardware sales which is great."

"Now in the case of Switch, okay we’ve gotta do a little work to make sure it runs right and gives the right thing. We don’t want to cut out half of the story or make sacrifices that change the game, but if a device will support what we’re doing, we’ll absolutely put it out because we want as many people as possible to play these great games that our developers make."

He said their games are resonating well with the Switch audience (selling well) and as long as a game can run on Switch at an acceptable level than there is a solid chance it will come to Switch.

In conclusion, you are making stuff up.

I don't know if I can return to Old Monster Hunter. World is a pretty massive and positive change from the old, and I don't know if I want the old anymore.

Nope. As I said EA cant even put a remastered game from 2008 on the Switch. They are not supporting it. As with Bethesda, that's how I read it. Just like every developer talked about the WiiU "We will release a game for it if it makes sense or takes advantage of the unique console" blah blah blah...

In other words, you heard what you wanted to hear instead of what was actually said.
