This is the quote from the article you linked: "We are not announcing anything [else] yet, but you can expect us to be there once the platform launches and takes off."
They did not say they werent going to continue supporting Switch, they said they had nothing to announce at the moment and if Switch sales take off they would increase support.
As for Bethesda, the article i linked says this:
"A game like Doom or Skyrim or Wolf II that there is an audience for those games on those consoles. We’ve seen that so far. Nintendo’s been really pleased obviously, and we didn’t have a crystal ball to know, ‘Oh this will definitely their best-selling thing’, but we saw it early, we felt like there was something we could support and our games would resonate, and they have, and obviously Nintendo’s crushing it with their hardware sales which is great."
"Now in the case of Switch, okay we’ve gotta do a little work to make sure it runs right and gives the right thing. We don’t want to cut out half of the story or make sacrifices that change the game, but if a device will support what we’re doing, we’ll absolutely put it out because we want as many people as possible to play these great games that our developers make."
He said their games are resonating well with the Switch audience (selling well) and as long as a game can run on Switch at an acceptable level than there is a solid chance it will come to Switch.
In conclusion, you are making stuff up. |
Nope. As I said EA cant even put a remastered game from 2008 on the Switch. They are not supporting it. As with Bethesda, that's how I read it. Just like every developer talked about the WiiU "We will release a game for it if it makes sense or takes advantage of the unique console" blah blah blah...
