I’m all about zombie games but that footage looks meh as fuck. Meh gunplay, meh driving mechanics. They still have a long time to fix them though.

The game mechanics are more worrying to me. Batman vision, radio towers, encampments, etc. Seems like Far Cry Zombies. Except even Far Cry has abandoned some of those mechanics. Hopefully the story makes up for it. LOL @ the developer so anal about the game not having zombies.

Comeon what zombie game even looks close to this? this will slap the hell outta State of Decay 2.
How often do you see hordes of zombies in the 300-500 range all just chargeing at you? thats differnt.

About the gunplay / driving mechanics... have you seen how bad the state of decay ones are? this looks alot better imo.

A.I for zombies looks much better than in State of decay 2 as well, all the gameplay videos where you see someone get grabbed by a zombie there its because they "Purposefully" play bad to get grabbed, to show the animations of the zombies. In Days Gone, it actually looks like a challenge to escape the horde.

In terms of story, Im pretty sure Days Gone will be much better too.

Holy damn 300-500 zombies on screen?
Expect 10-15-fps then.

Is this a State of Decay thread suddenly? lol

No point in comparing the two. Outside of the zombies (sorry... “freakers”) they are radically different games.

Because its clear your "hateing" because its a sony title lol :p

There is no gunplay/driveing mechanics issues.

Edit:

State of decay 2 has :
zombies dissapearing (and through floors, walls, lodged inside objects), magically appearing (pop-ins), constant Famepaceing issues ... typical "jank".
It also has that invisble string that tetters you to your host, teleports you around if you stray.

And have you seen the Zombie A.I in it? lol.

Did you have any issues when you say gameplay videos for that?

I think it looks pretty good, ofcourse you can see some things that need improvments, but I dont see any problems them ironing those out before Q1 2019.
I feel like you will be very paranoid and slightly scared all the time with all the dangers that can happen all the time. Also tech behind those freakers are pretty impressive. Upgrading your bike is pretty cool and slightly reminds me Mad Max. I am more happy how this game looks than State of Decay 2(not bashing, but hoped more, but hopefully there will be less bugs and pop ins than we have seen last week).

Ignoring your SoD2 stuff as this isn’t a SoD thread, you can disagree about the driving and gunplay, that’s fine. You may be right, by release those issues might be gone. I hope they are. As for the Sony part, no thanks to the console warz bait.

I do disagree about there being any issues at all with them.
Where do you spot this issues? what are they about? to me it seems fine.

This is a game I've had some doubts on for quite a while, but gotta give credit where is due. This looks massively improved from the past two E3 showings. I'll be keeping an eye out for this game.
