650 million as of December 31st 2017 including digital. Only behind the DS, Wii, 360, PS3, PS1 and PS2. It's entering the big leagues.

That is a lie, eveybody knows nowadays digital is half the sales for retail games and 100% for digital only games... so the total should be at least 1B games =p

That averages around 6-7 games per console.

*Looks at my PS4 game collection*....i'm helping at least 5 consoles that doesn't have any games xD

I probably buy 6-7 games per visit to USA, besides what I buy new... last gen I ended at about 120 retail ps3 games if i'm not wrong. And on VGC that was even a common number =p

I find it funny people complain about the lack of games on WiiU when the average gamer buy less games than WiiU had "must haves".

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Someone saying it doesn't have the games he wants or something like that is "ok", but to say there is no games is bizarre... will probably buy one soon, my boy is almost at gaming age.

Where do you find the time to play all those games? To completion?

Amazing milestone and it won't stop in the future! #GreatnessAwaits

Just last month, I received the Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings Limited Edition:

Also, I just purchased the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Collector's Edition this weekend.  It was on sale for $35 USD.

The Atelier Lydie & Suelle would count in the reported numbers.  The Wolfenstein II not so much since it was a very recent purchase.  It'll count for next time.

Hey Metal. Nice to see you back again. That Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings Limited Edition looks sweet. I'm kinda jealous. Here's a bit of a weird thing though: I also have the Wolfie 2 Collector's Edition. 2 of them in fact. My box is totally different though. The BJ doll is not visible, and the entire graphic design is more streamlined. Canadian box looks slightly bigger too. I have never in my life, aside from extra French text for copyright stuff, observed any differences between American and Canadian game boxes. Weirdness.

Just thinking that the outer shell may not be pictured in the image you linked, and this is the box inside the box.

Outer box shown below in the left...

Yes, we are going off topic.

35 games to play in 4 years isn't really much to complete.
