If this is a new smash than the holiday title will be sadly just smash. My dreams of a real game like metroid or pkmn just died.

@PAOerfulone
Thank you for the list. I am loosing the overview of the release of all the games.
I don't think that this was the last Direct until e3. I am expecting a shorter one end of April/beginning of May.
You're welcome!
We could get another one, but it'll likely be either a Mini Direct focused on indie games or a Game-Specific Direct, but the only game that justifies the latter that's releasing between now and E3 is Labo.

Think September is too early for Smash, Holiday 2018 would be my guess
Pokemon for Switch will probably be 2019, so another 3DS pokemon then?

You’re list is actually pretty good, I must admit. I think just add in one or two games to be announced at E3 and you’re spot on.
2nd half of 2018 will actually have heavier hitters than 2017. And this year will have more games overall too. Impressive.
2017
1-2-Switch
Zelda
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Arms
Splatoon 2
Mario + Rabbids
Pokkén
Fire Emblem Warriors
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
2018
Bayonetta 2 + 1
Kirby Star Allies
Nintendo Labo
Hyrule Warriors DE
DKCTF
Mario Tennis Aces
Captain Toad TT
Yoshi
Fire Emblem
Animal Crossing
Super Smash Bros.

I admit, Smash being the big holiday title is a little more likely than being a September title. I just think that if they really want to make sure that their Paid Online Service kicks off to a Fantastic Start, they need to have Smash Bros. be the game it launches with. That's literally a No Brainer.
And yeah, it's looking more and more likely that Pokemon isn't coming until at least 2019, which I am thankful for.

Yoshi in August
Smash Bros in Septmber, same day as the online service
Pokemon in November
Fire Emblem in December
I bet Animal Crossing, Bayonetta 3, and Prime 4 are 2019
March- Kirby
April-Labo
May-Donkey Kong, Hyrule Warriors
June- Mario Tennis, Sushi Strikers
July- Octopath Traveler, Captain Toad
And now we begin pure speculation
August-Yoshi(I like the name Yoshi's Flip Side)
September-Smash Bros, to launch the online service
October-Fire Emblem
November- Retro's new game(StarTropics?)
December- No idea
edited some mistakes
