Forums - Sales Discussion - Konami: Super Bomberman R selling well, Marvelous pleased with sales of Switch games

I would love if they did a Yugioh RPG style game again.

Wish they had given some numbers.

People really don't do numbers readily anymore, outside of Nintendo oddly enough.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Be nice if Konami would use this as reason to develop more games.

I actually thought Konami would leave console gaming after the fallout with Kojima. good to see they are not completely leaving the industry.

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [peak year] [+], [1], [2], [3], [4]

picked up a used copy the other day for $30. not the best game in the world, but there is only so much you can do with bomberman. still a welcome addition to my Switch library

I hope Konami smartens up and starts taking this seriously.  They would be able to really cash in on fans who are starved for something from them.  A 2D Castlevania (old style OR Metroidvania, doesn't matter), a new Contra, anything!

Switch is the perfect system for them to experiment.  Retro-style games aren't as big a financial risk.
