Hey people and especially americans. This thread is about you people. I want to describe what i am feeling and seeing as a jewish Kurd who lives in switzerland but loves the United Staates.

I am really concerned about how this red and blue thing divides one of the greatest Nation on earth. It just crazy. If i am seeing the tweets after the SOTU (State of the union) i think that both sides are living in countries which are in a war against each other. I dont understand how easy it is for you people to say about the other american that he/she is disgusting. Disgusting is such a hard word. You can disagree but some people go as far as to wish the death of the other side. How the hell did it come so far?

The reason why it is important for me and should be for any other human beeing living in this world is simple.

The united staates is the new rom, the new persia, the new otoman empire, the new british empire, the new sumer, the egypt and the new ancient greece.

That means the following, if you are an empire, you have Responsibilities. If i choose to be the boss of a company, the people will come to me with their problems and i would have to solve the problems. Thats how an empire works. But like any other empire the reason for its end will not be an enemy from outside, it will be their own fault. Ypu people are just insane. This is the first time in human history we have a Democratic empire and you are just playing with it and fucking it up just because of an Elephant or a donkey. Who cares? How fast did you forgett 9/11? Where red and blue was non existent and people were shoulder on shoulder next to each other and were Feeling for and with each other. What happened to that spirit? This is not about red and blue anymore this is going into a civil war in a few years. The hate is just so much its insane. How can you flush all that amazing country into the toilet? Because drugdealers come in? Thats it? So easy? Ms 13 killed the biggest empire? Was it so easy? And what about the dems? Never thinking about the people who just dont want new people. I dont get it why you people cant respect each other and find a middle way. I dont see this country recovering. I can judge better from outside as you people from inside because i understand both sides and am neutral. Its so sad to see america diying. The end of an empire.  If china will be the next superpower we can all just jump directly from a Bridge because the end will be the same.

Ps: america is an empire because you dont need to announce a country officialy be a part of the staate. The usa has the nato for that and the thousands of soldiers arround the globe.

I'd imagine that one could say the need for empires or their overall importance died once America won the culture war. Sure a country can come up and be a bigger economy than us, but they will never have the same influence that we have. Rather than with bullets we used blue jeans and ipods to rule the world and no one can take that away.

Also don't worry about China. They're so many problems there that it's closer to a box of TNT than a country.

Just as there exists unity, there exists conflict and both cannot be defined without each other ...

As an American I can safely assure you while it hasn't always been that bad, there have always been two Americas.....and they have never quite gotten along.

If your referring territory wise then yes the the land will still exist regardless of whether or not America will exist in it's current form as a geopolitical entity ... 

Anti-Trumper's will NEVER understand that Americans have more than one identity if they don't acknowledge that Trump himself is an American and that he stands for all Americans ... 

China becoming a superpower for the first time is not entirely accurate. China was a previous superpower looking back into history. We should not forget the many dynasties that China was before ... 

Being a superpower is only a "temporary" status ... 

Trump’s speech was great. Even people who are not fans said it was uplifting.

The country can heal once Republicans start taking actual responsibility. And, when Trump actually starts attempting to bridge divides. If he wants to last more than one term he needs to bring unity, which he absolutely has not. He said he would in Jan 2017 and nothing happened, nor do I believe it’ll happen now. He’s all talk but there’s nothing behind it. He clearly didn’t write this speech
