On metacritic probably not, this is not an equal fight after reviews like from eurogamer. But personally we had better games than Zelda like Witcher 3, Bloodborne. Now upcoming games like RDR2, GoW, Spider-Man, NnK2 or KH3.
I'm looking forward to see reviews for Shadow of the Colossus. Everything under 90% will be joke.
Games like Breath of theWild are a once a generation thing. There likely won’t be a game to top it for years - on any console.

I believe RDR2 can match or surpass knowing rockstars track record for releasing great games, maybe the last of us 2 if it comes out this year
If Fire Emblem comes out this year it'll definitely top both of those for me. Metacritic-wise though? Probably not.

In that case, it's possible that a game will release that will be better, like God of War, Spiderman and Red Dead, though if that opinion will be held in general is uncertain. There will definitely be groups of people who will think so.

I know I'll definitely think God of War will be better than anything this year. That game looks flat out gorgeous!
The Last of Us part II is a no-brainer but that is in 2019 - game of the generation, hands down!!!

Hahaha, dude I hear ya on Shadow of the Colossus. Though I'm confident it'll score 90-95. Every edition of SotC was above 90. The PS3 remaster scored higher than the original PS2 game so...but then again, look what happened to Crash Bandicoot (a game that was NOT remastered by the original team.) Hell, if The Last of Us on PS4 got 95 then Shadow of the Colossus should at least get a 92/93.

Wow, that's like a totally crazy thing to say considering for me the game already isn't even on the same scale as GTAV. I think a game like GTAV is more well done.
And for me, no game can ever top The Last of Us or Shadow of the Colossus (it's really a coin toss between those two). Maybe The Last of Us part II can do it - if so, I will stand tall and applaud Naughty Dog for the impossible!

If Animal Crossing is a somewhat MMO game that allows you to live, fully interact, and have elections with dozens of both players and computers, all with servers not tied to specific players, then yes we will see a better game. Or, if Nintendo pulls a fast one and announced a Majoras Mask -like sequel to Breath of the Wild (thanks to using the same engine), then maybe there as well.
Otherwise, no.
