You realise the poll is asking: "Have you tried VR yet?!"
I'm sure 80% of the people were answering to the headline....I know I was.

Most people will adopt to motion sickness pretty soon. VR is overwhelming at first (also for many humans bodies) but humans can adapt pretty quickly. When the first 3D games like Doom gets released, many people got motion sick as well. Not really a problem today anymore, people just got used to it. |
You think so? I still cant play any fps and even have more problems with newer 3rd person games...

Are you speaking of experience?! |
yes!

Even VR on the base PS4 with all its limits and shortcomings is lightyears above playing just on a 4k tv though. Especilly for cross plattform games like Resident Evil 7, Skyrim, Eve and co.
In Star Wars battlefront you can sit in the Xwing like it would be real. Its so much better then playing fighter squadron, its hard to tell lol.

No, most of you actually THINK that it is that way, when most of you lack the ability to even decide objectively, since you haven't extensively tried it out yet.
But hey...I yesterday stumbled upon that article here and I believe with VR-naysayers or -inexperienced people it's even worse, so I'll give it a rest.
Have a nice weekend everybody.
I'm gonna get some beers and and play Dirt Rally in VR. Always wanted to become a rally driver!

I share his opinion though since I own my headset. |
I'll agree that some games can be more immersive in VR such as I'm a survival horror fan. But I'm not going to act presumably self-righteous that VR is the end of all gaming needs while dictating that anything other than that is a shortcoming of the person who doesn't prefer VR. That's the problem with the OP and this thread., not the fact that he prefers VR. He prefers VR, great. He dictates as if VR is a mandated righteousness, bad.

that's how it is... the worse thing is, that i also get motion sick from shadow of war or a little when i play uncharted or witcher 3... don't know why exactly :(
Zelda works fine though...
I also finished metroid prime once.... or halo... but i needed breaks every 30min... for more than an hour or so to recover... was just bad.
but some how no problems with ace combat or gran turismo in cockpit mode... :P
For me AR >> VR :)

Yeah man...In that case, if you're overly sensitive, you really may be out of luck..at least for now. That I understand. If you're having a physical inability VR simply doesn't work as intended.
I am sorry to hear that.
That would be the biggest shot in the foot in gaming history.
