I'm pretty sure in Asia it's possible to but if from somewhere else. Only 420k players have played solo on the Europe servers(on Xbox), and only 100k in Asia . That's 520k between the 2. I can't get a number for North America because that's where I regularly play, but it's probably 1-1.5 million.
It's hard to estimate players through the leaderboards and there is probably quite a lot who have only played with friends in duo or squads and haven't touched the solo queue but on my NA I have 1 game with 1000 rating and It's 901k ( was 702k on Sunday when I first had a game on NA) Also your rating does go below 1000 if your first few games are real bad there could be another few 100k players below my ranking for all I know.
On the Europe and Asia servers I only played 1 match and I died as fast as possible to get to the bottom of the leaderboards. Ur telling me it's possible to get lower than being the first person to die and only playing one match? Also I assume around 80% or so of players have played at least 1 solo match. I also assume 20% of players either gameshare, have multiple accounts, received free copies, played matches in multiple regions or returned their copy. All these combined probably come close to counteracting the users that never played solo. It's for all these reasons that I believe the number I see on the leaderboards is a decent representation of pubg owners.
Don't get me wrong I very much want this game to be a 4 million units but that just isn't the case.
