Also I have a strong hunch that a Dark Souls games is going to be released on the Switch in 2018.

That would be instantly high on my wishlist. Also a Monster Hunter game. And if Atlus brings some Etrian Odyssey, but at this point I think they keep releasing EO on 3DS.

The Switch game I'm looking forward to the most is Project Octopath Traveler.

Bayonetta 3

From that list,

Must Have Purchase:
1. Fire Emblem
2. Yoshi
3. Kirby

Interested:
1. Pokemon
2. SMT 5

Little/No interest:
1. Mega man 11
2. Metroid Prime 4
3. Bayonetta 3
4. Project Octopath Traveler

Dragon Quest 11 would be my #1 must have purchase if it were on the list. Dragon Quest Builders and Valkyrie Chronicles 4 would also be on my must purchase list.

I'm still not fond of the Switch and it will probably take a while for me to buy one, but from that list I'm interested in:

Fire Emblem
Kirby Star Allies
Project Octopath Traveller
Shin Megami Tensei V
Pokemon

Though the ones that interest me the most are Valkyria Chronicles 4, Mega Man 11 and Dragon Quest XI, but I'll buy the first two for PS4 and the later for 3DS if that version also comes to west.

What was your reason for not liking the Switch again? Lack of portability/no clamshell design?

Out of that list Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 and Fire Emblem are definitely my most hyped games. I don't even know if I can rank the three! I think Bayonetta is the safest bet for being the greatest game, but Prime is my favorite game ever, and I can't wait to see what a Fire Emblem on Switch will look like and do ....

Octopath Traveler is also high up there too. The rest are ok. I think I'm more interested for Shin Megami Tensei than I am "excited".

More or less, portability and I'm already too used and actually prefer the dual screen, clamshell design of the 3DS. I'm also a Wii U owner and that kind of fuelled my disinterest in its 2017's lineup.

On the plus side, I liked what I saw of Mario + Rabbids, want to try Arms at some point and of course Mario Odyssey too, in fact, I already bought the first two, so I'll end up getting a Switch eventually.
