Assassin's Creed came out so often I fell behind around time Black Flag came out and I've never played Syndicate or Origins. I've come to prefer 3 year gaps in entries in series or I fall behind.

Same boat. Last one I played was ACIII

Sounds like everyone's piling on AC.

I've passed on all sorts of games, but most notably Assassins Creed, since after III, it didn't really feel like the Creed games interested me from that point onward.

I've also passed on the majority of Ubisoft's games, as they require Uplay to even run (That and they are heavily into multiple layers of DRM).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Actually there aren't a lot of franchises where I've played every single game from. I miss out on a lot of things.

It's kinda my personal poster child for franchises I've passed up on. I have the first 4 games in the series sitting in a cabinet still unopened. Was kinda close to starting it a couple times but never did. I've since lost a fair amount of interest. Doubt I'll ever start it, much less buy any more.

I dont pass up on them, I backlog them.

Forza and it sucks because I want to play the best racer out there. It isn't on any platform I have and I don't plan on getting the platforms it is on any time soon.

Mainly 3rd party games that aren't on Nintendo
Tales of, Final Fantasy, etc.

I pass on my mid tier games that tend to stay expensive years after release.

For top tier, obviously I buy day 1. For the others, I like to wait until they price drop.

I'm gonna have to pass on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 this year.

Between all the switch games I've picked up in the past couple months, and the upcoming Zelda DLC 2, finding time for an 80+ hour JRPG is gonna be hard for a while, despite how much I want to play it and love that series.

Definitely would agree with everyones "Assassins Creed" Band wagon. Those games have been boring for a long time. Black flag was the last time I was interested in it.

I don't think I've ever passed up on any franchise due to lack of time. If anything, I've done it due to lack of interest.

Same here. If I really wanna play something, I'll find the time for it.
