Now to guess 2017 numbers. PS4 had its best BF outside of 2013 so 140k or higher. It won so we know XBO is less than 140k, also MS hasnt made a statement yet so i think its safe to say this is not the best BF for XBO so it should be under 130k.

Im going to guess this is 3DS worst BF since its showing its age, so about 25k. Switch is hard to predict but 3DS first BF was 47k so ill say Switch did 50k since it has been more popular up to this point.

Here are my picks

VGChartz numbers are a bit off some years, and WAAAAAAAAAY off for PS4 in 2016.

There's the numbers, confirmed by GFK:

2014
XB1 - 109,000
PS4 - 108,000

2015
PS4 - 139,000
XB1 - 134,000

2016
PS4 - 143,000
XB1 - 93,000
3DS - 35,000 (The only year we know 3DS sales)

As for the 2017 numbers:
PS4 + XB1 = up YOY 3% (235,000 in 2016 * 1,03 = 242,000)
PS4 = up YOY (>143,000)

This mean:
PS4 > 143,000
XB1 < 99,000

This week total > 300,000 (242,000 PS4+XB1)
3DS + NSW > 58,000

I'll say my predictions as well.

PS4 - 150,000
XB1 - 92,000
NSW - 50,000
3DS - 20,000

Total would be 312K, which could be even a bit conservate for the "well over" 300K the article say.

Did we get a confirmation that the 3% increase is for unit sales not revenue? Last year PS4 was cheaper than Xbox so it is understandable to see the big difference. This year Xbox is cheaper and we have the X. I find it hard to believe that Xbox was flat especially after seeing the X launch week numbers where the S was best selling console.
If true, it is a disappointing week for us, Xbox fans.

Well this year have been quite bad and lower for X1, so it isn't unexpected to have a lower BF... but we don't know if over there X1X done good or not.
