As the title implies, on Media Create Splatoon 2 has just surpassed DQ11 in retail this past week. DQ11 is estimated of selling under 1.372mil ltd and splat2 has sold 1.373mil.

Next up is the 3ds sku which is currently at most 402k ahead. Can Splat2 outsell this version? When will it if it does? And for the ultimate goal can splat2 outsell both sku combined?! O.o

I believe that Splatoon can beat both versions of DQXI in Japan.

But the real challenge:

Can it also beat it with the additional sales of the game on the Switch?

No splat1 is still ahead (1.7mil+)

This is more insane than people realize. Imagine, prior to the launch of Splat 1, someone predicting that the series would be so popular that it outsold a mainline DQ game. Incredible.
