I just don't understand for the life of me why so many people are getting upset over the Battlefront lootboxes. Star Wars Battlefront was an overhyped P.O.S. game and got a metascore of 73/100 despite all the marketing. That's only 1 point higher than No Man's Sky. Complaining about lootboxes in Battlefront 2, is about as silly as complaining about lootboxes in Bubsy. You shouldn't be interested in these games. There are tons of games out this year that are infinitely better than these games. But people simply lack good taste, and want to play their lowest common denominator shooter.

Battlefront 1's score is largely due to it being lackluster in content compared to prior battlefront games. 2 was going to remedy this, as well as have a single player mode. THus people were hoping it would be like it's predecessor battlefront 2. Also no man's sky is over rated. It should be lower than 72
But regardless of review score, fans of a game should be upset with shady practices in their game. Doesn't matter if the game is the last of us or bubsy, people don't want loot boxes.

I used to play TCG or CCGs if you want to call them that. I spend hundreds of dollars, only to get mad that cards were Super broken, or unplayable trash. I was a fan of the DBZ TCG for over 14 years. Looking back I should have just let go after the first year. Even now I think about the game sometimes. Speaking from experience it's just easier to let a beloved game go, than it is to constantly stay mad.
I feel like a lot of people are mad about the lootboxes, but will buy the game anyway because they desperately want to play a Star Wars shooter. All I can say is, don't.
