3DS is killing it

Indeed it is. And for the record, we’re comparing a newly launched system with a system in its 5th fiscal year. Historically, the only PS console to have peaked in its 5th fiscal year was the PS3 (first full fiscal year of the PS3 Slim release). PS1 peaked in its 4th FY and PS2 in its 3rd FY.

Yep, yet we had Miyamoto being sure the norm is 4th year for all companies.

If you see my answer here I am expecting Switch to outsell it unless stock isn't there.

One thing is for sure, Xbox will be last ww, this holiday will be between the big boys. PS4 and Switch.

Considering that we're talking about a North America centered event, I think all 3 will do well.

If you want me to pick a winner, you'll need to define "win".

I think Nintendo will move the most consoles, if they're able to meet demand. XB and PS will certainly move far, far more software. Between the two of them, PS is likely to sell more. But, XB is likely to see the bigger bump, relative to the rest of the year.

It should be Switch for the US, PS4 global but... we don't know what Xbox One X is capable of yet. I think we need to pay attention to its sales first before making an accurate assessment.

Its very unlikely 3DS will win, but keep in mind there are a pair of new pokemon games coming out a week prior of black friday, on Nov 17. Combine that with the fact that 3DS will have good discounts while switch stays at $300, I feel like 3DS has a shot of beating switch, even if it is for a short while.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

A pokemon making tired 3DS sell over 1M on the BF isn't all that unlikely. Does it have limited edition? Because that would certainly help a lot.

Globally in the U.S.: NS

WW : PS4

This again.

The PS4 deals this year will be insane, so I'm gonna go ahead and say the PS4 will win it this time out.

A brand new PS4 is still $299, after 4 years of being on the market. That's insane when you consider that it launched at $399. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see a few deals where you can get one for under $200.

The Switch wont have enough stock, and the Xbox One is an afterthought.

199 is quite possible deal. And it won't take long before it goes 149 on a BF.

This.

Especially if you consider Nintnedo as Switch + 3/2DS.

Nintendo can cash in with Switch and do lots of great bundles with 3/2DS.

Switch!!!
