how about a no lol  I was going to download this game anyway I just need to get an sd card

I totally expected this to happen, but not this early. I mean, it's not like Switch cartridges are that expensive, are they? Why not go for the higher capacity ones? Will other devs see cost-effective going for cartridges of higher capacity? Even if devs perfectly cram a game inside a 32GB cart, what will happen when there's an upcoming massive patch for that game? Many gamers will be content by buying more and more SD cards, will they?

Will situations like this one repeat in the future? Games are supposed to be optimized for these situations. WWE games have never been known to be properly optimized. I know because I've bought nearly all of them.

More 3rd party woes for Switch, mandatory SD cards may drive people off quickly. The hardware just doesn't keep up with the times, Nintendo might be doing the same mistake Sony did with Vita's memory cards.

Nintendo hasn't made mandatory proprietary Switch cards.

So you're buying a physical game without it being actually physical but it's still more expensive because it's physical. And since most third parties don't ever bother minimalizing game sizes, the embarassing 32gb storage on Switch will be full in no-time forcing consumers to buy SD cards. Like the Switch itself (and the games) isn't expensive enough

Essentially mandatory day one patches not unlike the xbox one and ps4. Still annoying though.

This really sucks for the people who will always buy a multiplat on Switch for portability.

Might as well get it digital.

Nintendo needs to do something about this, or just let dumb greedy 3rd parties take the PR hit and loss of sales.

The cart is unacceptably small; it could be at least 16gb without adding much to the cost, and larger is perfectly possible as well. Data storage is becoming extremely inexpensive, and 8gb is just a joke in late 2017.

I glad I have 200GB card but if I buy any decent amount of 3rd Party cards. That won't be enough. Damn.

Why even release it physical then? The point is that you can run it off of the cart without an install!

Sigh, looks like game installs will be no different than the PS4 and X1. It just sucks that you have to make an extra purchase to run some of these games. I mean it really is not THAT big of a deal as SD cards are pretty easy to get ahold of, but it is still a minor inconvenience that would be solved by using the correctly sized cart.

Just charge 10 more for physical and match the PS4 and X1 for digital. This would be the correct solution in my eyes.
