Well, I completed the game.

For those wondering, there are 880 unique moons.

Is there a limit on how many moons you can in the shop or is it unlimited? Because I was buying a bunch and the store just did not run out of moons. 

I'm actually not sure. The overall maximum is 999, so I'd assume you can only buy a max of 119 additional moons. On the other hand, it's possible that it really is unlimited and you can still collect moons even when the Odyssey's moon counter is maxed out.

The second water kingdom. Don't remember the name. I have all of the possible moons from the past kingdoms (except one).

Around 260~ moons.

Yes. I have already talked to the animal and the blue Toad for help on some of them.

You can buy infinite moons but the counter stops at 99 per kingdom

Currently in bowser’s Kingdom, and I have to say that the bird is by far my favourite thing to possess!!

speaking of captures in this game, I was thinking of making a thread (poll) asking what everyone’s favourite capture is, I’ve never made a thread before but I really want to (once I finish) :)

Just beat the main story after picking up I think 370 something moons.

And all I can say about the finale is HOLY. CRAP. That. was. awesome.

And still so much to do :D
