Indeed, I was stuck in the very first world for a long time while playing in handheld mode. I couldn't get the frog to jump high enough, nor get enough extra height by releasing the frog at the highest point. Then when I tried again on the tv, the game gave me the hint to shake the controllers to do a high jump...

I have gone back to collecting what you can from the first 3 worlds. I assume the rest unlocks later as the parot and the other guy both say there are no more hints available. No clue what to do with those big iron blocks for example.

I just started on the lake world, don't want to stop but it's past 3 am :( So far the only difficulty is handling the camera to see where you jump or turn to in time (besides finding the moons ofcourse)

The parrot and Blue Toad are programmed to where they can only give you 5 hints per world, after that, you're on your own. And you can't do anything about the Iron Blocks until after you beat the game.

Nah, In the cascade kingdom I only got 2 hints from the toad, still have a bunch of the high numbers left. In sands kingdom I bought at least 10 hints, testing how far it would go. The parrot only gives 3 hints at a time, solve those and he'll keep giving more hints.

I have around 400 moons now and I've just 100% the Cap Kingdom. I moved on to the Sand Kingdom because I had no clue on how to get the last 2 moons in the Cascade Kingdom. I'll come back later. Man, this game sure has content xD

Let me guess, Moons 19 an 25?? They were the two I was stuck on last night anyway

OT: Now have 4 Kingdoms 100%, well the first 2 and the 2 that dont really count. Working on the Sand Kingdom now

That's correct! XD. I don't know what I'm supposed to do, but I'll work through the other kingdoms and go back whenever I feel like it.

I haven't used motion controls at all and I'm having no issues progressing through the game.

I am in Wooded Kingdom right now. Fantastic music all through the game.

My favorite kingdom so far is the Sand one, perfect size and excellent level design. Lovely little calavera characters.

me and the kids got to new donk city by saturday night then sunday morning my daughter woke up and decided she wanted to play..and started a new game so now we are back at the wooded kingdom

Just beat the game, I'm back at Cap Kingdom to do exploration, aiming for 100% for sure.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

I beat the game last night. The last boss was not much of a surprise but I died like 3 times. Also the song was decently good. I will probably try to get 100% but I do not think I will attempt too hard on it.

(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Biggest pikmin fan on VGchartz I won from a voting poll

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

I have one question for the people who advanced more than me in completion. Have I missed something or are there moons without a single hint? XD. I couldn't complete the Sand Kingdom and the Cascade Kingdom because of that. But, well, in the end I moved forward to the next kingdom and still having a great time.

So far, I've 100%'d the Cap, Cascade, Sand, Wooded, Cloud, and Luncheon Kingdoms.
Moon Count: 708

So I think I'm a little more than halfway there.
