Are you telling me the Internet is not for porn anymore?

Your joke wasnt funny though :/

I blame social media foe bringing women to the Internet, back then the Internet was rough because the vast majority on it were men. pretty much all the women were in reality 40 years old men. But now because of their myspace, hi5, instagram you have real women on the internet so now every douche is trying to act like a white knight, you can't even joke about rape without being vilify :(

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I liked it. Fitting analogy.

Concerning the OP...I agree. The internet is a hostile place these days. Certainly didn’t feel that way just a decade ago. It’s certainly true there’s more people online for sure and I am sure more younger ones at that..is it the lack of education, general respect?! I don’t know...Sometimes I feel, even though the Internet should bring people together, it actually helps in dividing them. Lose respect because of the anonymity the net offers.

Myself surely isn’t free of that as well.

Group dynamics like hate trains are surely another factor, fuelled by the greater interconnectivity of (anti)social services these days.

Cheer up! In 100 years we won't be here, but our posts will live on in the internet archive. :)

I doubt that humanity will still exist in 100 years.

I can feel it in the water. I can feel it in the earth. Much what once was, is now forgotten.

It's kinda sad that this is true. I think about it a lot.

Probably, but intelligent rats will look at the internet archive as eternal wisdom.

It's because of the Barney generation. They were all coddled too much and now they're young adults who are overly sensitive to everything and can't deal with the world very well. When I was a kid, our parents taught us that the world was rough and people were going to fuck with you every chance they could get. We weren't sheltered from it, we were given tools to DEAL with it.

This is why I always tell the SJW (Barney kids) that it's honorable to want a perfect world, but unrealistic. It's good to aspire to something better, but reality is different and the world is not ready for perfect harmony.
