I can't possibly understand why people take this in a negative light ...
It's not like the community manager was sneering at the Switch on the behalf of Namco Bandai, he only wanted feedback ...

I don't think anyone cares much about Bandai. People are mostly sneering at Slightly Mad.
But I imagine many are getting very sick of the "buy this game to show you want this other game" or "retweet/share/whatever this message to show you want x game" approach from 3rd parties. It's extremely tiresome. And it doesn't help this is the third time this franchise has been dangled infront of the Nintendo platform consumer base and we all know where the last two times went: nowhere.

Which is why I can't understand how people here are so worked up when Slightly Mad Studios hasn't uttered a word in this case ...

They got their money back. From my understanding, they had to make massive concessions to get it running at all, and even then it had a low framerate(17-24, IIRC). Nobody go "screwed." Switch is significantly better than Wii U. Wii U was doomed to failure from the time is was concieved, mostly due to being severely underpowered. |
What? Switch is significantly better (more powerful) than WiiU? Since then? So far the consensus was, that it is slightly better than WiiU.
Brings sales success now also hidden hardware power?

He basically said that he has no idea, but hey, I'm a community manager so please post on our community channels.

Because they are the devs behind the game most likely and the last two times this was pulled it was their idea.
Also, the fact the Wii U version was canceled the day the Namco partnership was announced is probably a factor as well.
The new Dragon Ball game, Gundam Versus, and a watered down 720p tekken would be nice. Nintendo doesn't need racing sims to be honest.
I hate these kind of response.
Obviously people want games, but we're not going to ask for every game not announced on switch.
Stop asking us to beg and do your job yourself.
Hmm. At least, it's an open path for it instead of it being a shut door. Might be the best way for them to gauge for interest in a port to the NS.

No thank you.
Tales of games on the other hand, ports of older games would be great
