Did you take the "Multiple" choice into consideration? |
Good point, I did not.

Well if money isn't that much of a factor why are most home consoles sold when the console starts costing $200 or less? |
Is that true though? The PS3 never hit $200. The PS4 hasn't either with most sales obviously happening before it hit that price. But even then you're missing the point. That guy thinks that some of us aren't gaming on all platforms because of lack of money, which is obviously silly.

For most consoles I said - the PS3 and Wii U being obvious exceptions since those consoles seem to be built from the begininng to be very dififcult to lower production costs on... That number might be $250 now with inflation. Though I don't think I'm missing the point. I know plenty of people both casual, hardcore, and legit video game developers who only get one console per generation. I don't necessarily think it's a lack of money per se (for some it is), but the willingness to invest in in a entirely new platform including a $200-$400 console cost, extra controller, online service fees... when that money could be put into games on the platform you already have. Heck, $300-$500 is more than most people spend on games on any one platform.
Mostly Sony followed closely by Nintendo. Don’t really care much for microsoft as they don’t have that many first party franchises.

This is obviously an accurate statement. I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise. Money is definitely a limiting factor for some people.
Ps4 this gen, Xbox last gen, Ps2 before that. I dont mindlessly follow a company, at least i hope not, i tend to gravitate towards innovation and consumer friendly behavior as well as a company being open honest and candid. I feel very strongly that Sony absolutely nailed it this gen with multiple diverse titles that can only be enjoyed on its platform.
