I played the Wii version, I really liked the game.

And allready the Wii version has one of the best graphics in any game with the water colour painting aesthetic. It's the aesthetic that makes the visuals in the game stand out not the pixel count.

PS3 HD > Wii > PS2.

The differnce between the Wii & PS2 isnt that big, but the jump up to the HD version with the PS3 is massive.

The textures and resolution do make a differnce in this game, just go look at a youtube compairsion video.

The perfect remaster would be a DIRECTORS CUT version where they cut the game's length in half and solve the pacing problems.

But for now, I'd love a native 4K image downsampled to a 1080p screen, and a higher frame rate.

from my understanding the PS3 version already employs some kind of 4K rendering with downsampling - might only be the edges while the textures are ressed up with a different technique

what I know is that it's super sharp and jaggy free on my 1080p TV

in my PS2 playthrough I also thought that the game overstays it's welcome, but after platinuming the PS3 version I'm pretty certain it was pent up frustration from literally hours of that super annoying pseudo-talk (at first I thought it was cute..) and loading screens

....Okami released on the Wii to high acclaim, and yet they are releasing it on the X-Box....

I mean really, you probably wouldn't even equal the porting cost of the Switch from the sales on the X-Box..

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
