How about, you know, maybe like, an actual VR device that besides being comfortable provides new and interesting ideas? |
That would be nice but i would rather play the Virtual Boy games than most VR games out now. I would still like Nintendo to make a VR device though but bring back the Virtual Boy first.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

The Virtual Boy actually has a solid 3D effect, stronger than that of the 3DS.
I'd rather they just release a compilation for the 3DS. They could even remaster the games with colour. Wario Land is an excellent platformer and it's criminal that few will ever play it.

Bad in the sense that the red monochrome display gave you a headache. The stereo effect was good ofcourse.
That's actually kind of a weird omission. PSVR can play 3D blu-rays, yet not the handful of 3D ps4 games. They just show up as 2D on the virtual screen. Fez and the Trine trilogy should work on a 3D virtual screen. Ofcourse some have already gotten the VR treatment, Super Stardust Ultra VR, Bound with a free update, Castlestorm crashers VR version just came out this week.
The few good games from virtual boy could easily run in 2D as well, add some color, add them to the eShop, easy money.
They should just release all games as a bundle adapted to the 3DS
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
I actually assumed for quite some time that they eventually would come out with a Virtual
Boy collection on 3DS, or at least release a couple of it's games digitally, seemed like a logical thing to do, but they never did.

The Virtual Boy was a complete failure, they don't want to bring any attention to it. It's practivally never mentioned by Nintendo anymore.

But, why? Most games on the console are just bad, and only one or two are in any way fun to play, at least until you get a headache and start feeling ill from staring at the red and black screen for more than a few minutes. The only game I can actually think would be decent if they remade it is Virtual Boy Wario Land.
