As clearly stated in the news release Trump is following the advice of his Generals and military experts. Just like any good leader. It works that way in nearly every business or organization. The Chef in a restaurant, who is the expert at food, recommends to the GM what food to buy. The GM relies on this info to make the best decision to make his operation run better. Same with the Chef recommending to promote or fire a line cook. He knows what is needed to make his part of the operation run smoothly. Delegating responsibility is a major part of being a leader.

While I think this COULD is a step too far, I do agree that the millitary shouldn't be paying for surgery. Even if the expense is small, most people who require medical procedures usually arent allowed into the millitary in the first place. It isn't like Trump is banning gay people for no reason.

And the bathroom issue? Give me a break.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I would expect better mental gymnastics from the guy with an imaginary view of oppression, trans rights and social justice.

At least this will get those SJWs riled up, and that's all that matters, right?

As if they need this to get riled up. I bet the sun rising is all it takes for some of them

It's nice to have an easy to offend strawman, isn't it? Makes your support for this clown car of an administration feels much less dumb

The US has literally become an idiocracy. Trump is almost exactly the sort of person that was predicted to be voted in. While he was in pro-wrestling, the difference is he was not champion. Otherwise the idea of voting for a guy who is most known for trash-media being voted in is spot on. I would suspect the reasoning is the same, a lot of very stupid voters.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Well I'm not a bigot and I'm civilized.

Also BTW isn't saying fuck you to those that support this making you the bigot?

There was no need to insult people anyone that's an uncivilized way to have a conversation

Destroying people's lives is an uncivilized way to start a conversation.

Showing your support for destroying people's lives is an uncivilized way to have a conversation.

Considering people's worth exclusively in terms of "how much they cost" is an uncivilized way to have a conversation.

You had your chance to have my patience, you had your chance to have my civility. You wasted it.

If you referring to transgenders who are already in the military and the possibility of them being discharged as "destroying their lives" then I'll agree with you there. If they are discharged they should be offered some type of job that pays the same or something along the lines of that.

Were talking about how much the military spends on Ttansgenders so using money to talk about their worth for the military makes sense.

I had no chance at your patience or you being civilized when your first post was telling people that support this to fuck themselves.

Where's that impeachment?

He has to go through twitter because as you'll see all day for the next week, the media will not be telling the whole, correct and unbiased story on this decision. And what really is there to explain?  Military experts recommend this move, Trump takes thier advice and impliments it. Just like every good organisation who succeeds at their task.

Transgender people are prone to depression, and that's expected when you live in a body that you want to rip your way out of it. I don't think anyone would "choose" to feel that way.

What sort of soldier continues to be "mentally fit" throughout their service though?

I am pretty sure many soldiers experience PTSD, depression and a plethora of other mental disorders, especially in the American army where psychos and war criminals are allowed to join and unleash their craziness. So please, come up with a different explanation as to why Trump made this decision. I am neutral to his decision so far but that's because I don't get why people join the army in the first place.

Hey, nice job commenting on an issue you have no knowledge of, you'd make Trump proud

"It's not discrimination if I'm thick as mince!"

I have plenty of knowledge regarding this topic. How much do you have? Having been in the military I would not want someone with mental instability anywhere near myself or my men. If you want to cut off your dick because you identify as a women then so be it, if you want to become a man then so be it, it doesnt mean you are actually a man or have become a women. It means that you have altered your body to become what you think you should be. Kind of like a women with no tits getting some monsters put in because she should have been born with them. Keep your crazy away from the weapons and the battle field.

I should have realized earlier, I'm not going to stop you in your race to the bottom.

Why should your lack of basic notions on transgender people stop you from talking about the subject? Hasn't stoppe the Prez!

Not that it takes much knowledge to see that people that have been doing a job for years being suddenly stopped it's stupid.
This is really as simple as I can make it for you, and I'm afraid you'll still not get it.

If you're worried about the medical costs of the army, stop invading other countries.
Or scrap the no man left behind policy, would save a lot of after care costs!

Anyway I understand, digging 3 separate latrines every night is a lot of work.
