See, shit like this is why I love Fi! Yeah, I know she can ramble on and on and be annoying with holding your hand too much, but moments like this are what gives her character and personality beyond "robotic, sword-spirt, lady." This, trashing the verbal passage that Gaepora recites when you first meet her, back-hand insulting you for mistaking Machi the Kikwi's aura for Zelda. Basically, if you or anyone says something stupid or ignorant, she will not hesitate to drag you through the mud and make you feel like a total dipshit. Underneath that cold, steel-like, robotic exterior is a sassy, smartass bitch and I love it! She's not on Midna's level (Who is?) But she has some smoke on her!

Too bad she focuses all her sass on warning you about the deplition of your batteries.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Ok, I am going to say this now, that problem is incredibly overblown.

As someone who has played the original version MANY times. That has never been an issue for me. Why? Because I always pause the game and change the batteries after the first time she says it. A good pair of AA batteries should last you a good 15-20 hours. One playthrough of Skyward Sword is usually around 30-40 hours, depending on how many side quests you do. So, you should only really hear it around 2-3 times a playthrough (Oh, the agony!). It's only a problem if you constantly ignore her and keep trucking on through playthrough to try to squeeze out every ounce of juice those batteries have, in which case, I'm sorry, that's not the game's problem, that's on you.

Just finished File 9 in Astral Chain and holy moly, this game is epic. Unless the last three files are bad, it's worthy to stand alongside the likes of Bayonetta 1 + 2 and Vanquish as one of Platinum's best.

Also, it took me til now to realize there's sprint and slide commands haha. If the game ever told me, I forgot. XD

Skyward Sword HD was handled by Tantalus, who previously handled Twilight Princess HD, Mass Effect 3, and Deus Ex Human Revolution on Wii U.

Good to see its outsourced so as not to weigh down Nintendo's internal teams.

I was happy to see that as well. Takes away people's complaints about ports.

I dunno what you guys are complaining about, Claymates was a childhood classic fave of mine! I'll be playing that!

But yeah, their lack of care for what the fans actually wants is baffling. I've got an 8bitDo SN30 Pro and a phone with something like 12k roms between like 6 or 7 emulators (Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, SNES, NES, N64, and Genesis). I'll just play my Nintendo games there. I'd be happy to buy them digitally off Nintendo, but holy hell they're so uninterested in my money sometimes. I'd kill for a 'nintendo account' where they had the virtual console playable on all systems. Play on your phone, on PC, on Switch, on 3DS, just buy the game and play it across all systems. Done. IT's not hard. Hell, I'd PAY for the emulator, just so I could also pay for the games. I like Nintendo stuff enough that I'd pay again, but in the digital age there's no reason why they can't do some sort of integrated Nintendo Virtual Console that can be played across multiple systems.

And because they are not allowing me to do that....Yarrr me mateys!

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Sorry, man, just love to be the funny dude. As the mapache said, I just said it because that's how Fi's usual perception goes, she constantly interrupts you, and while she does have cute moments as the one you posted, all of which amused me when I played the game back in 2011, those are a rarity.

Spoiler!

I'll never understand the obsession with Melia, she's easily the least charming of the playable characters in Xenoblade to me.
