Got the OST on Apple music and listen to it from time to time.
Even the non-boss music is great.

I finished Kirby's Dream Course via NSO
I'll write more about it later but beating this game makes it my 750th overall game I've beaten across all platforms.
(Also my 22nd game I beaten in 2024)
So I got a little curious about the Switch's software sales in Japan and I looked back at Nintendo's Supplementary Material pages all the way back to the Switch's launch. Now keep in mind, they only post games that have sold over 1 million units in each Fiscal Year, so this list and data is incomplete, but this is what I have gathered.
Switch Games Japanese Sales:
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 11.64m
2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 8.46m
3. Pokemon Scarlett/Violet - 8.19m
4. Smash Smash Bros. Ultimate - 7.57m
5. Splatoon 3 - 7.09m
6. Pokemon Sword/Shield - 5.64m
7. Splatoon 2 - 5.11m
8. Ring Fit Adventure - 4.09m
9. Breath of the Wild - 3.87m
10. Pokemon BD/SP - 3.85m
11. Tears of the Kingdom - 3.71m
12. Pokemon Legends: Arceus - 3.64m
13. Super Mario Odyssey - 3.32m
14. Super Mario Party - 3.17m
15. Super Mario Bros. Wonder - 2.68m
16. Nintendo Switch Sports - 2.37m
17. Mario Party Superstars - 2.18m
18. Pokemon Let's Go - 2.18m
19. Pikmin 4 - 1.87m
20. Kirby and the Forgotten Land - 1.84m
21. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe - 1.82m
22. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury - 1.82m

$20 off "Plus, grab some gear while you’re at it – with $20 off the suggested retail price of Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and $10 off the suggested retail price off the Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition." I recommend using DekuDeals to catch deals even for hardware: https://www.dekudeals.com/items/pro-controller You'll get notification when it goes on sale. |
That is awesome. Looks like I will finally pick one of those up.
I actually do use Dekudeals. Usually the decent deals on the Pro Controller sell out so fast I don't even have a chance to buy one.

Do you go to big retailers to look for those as well ? Probably where you should also look since they have those discounts most of the time during this period.

I don't have the link to it atm, but we do have the White Papers info on the matter.

Dekudeals is just a tracker for the big retailers. The last three years has rarely had any sales on the controller. Amazon is the most common one to have sales for it, but I swear it seems like those Amazon deals last for under 12 hours. By the time I see the email and then visit the site, the price has already gone back up. Sounds like the deal should be more widely spread this year, so I'm hopeful I'll be able to grab one.

What would you say is the most violent game Nintendo published? Yes I'm accepting games originally published by Nintendo but no longer owned by Nintendo.
Off the top of my head are Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct 1+2, the Sluttonetta trilogy, and Eternal Darkness.
