If the Overwatch thing is true, I'm surprised it took as long as it did. Their mkst direct rival has been on Switch for over a year and done rather well for itself. Between that, the success of Fortnite, and Splatoon's popularity explosion, it's clear an audience for stylized shooters of a variety of types exists on Switch. It's not quite guaranteed to succeed but it's hard to imagine it not doing at least pretty good.

Japanese retailer warns customers to expect shortages of Switch Lite

Also, it would seem that the Japanese feel similarly to the voters in the poll we had here in terms of colours; Turquoise is the most wanted, followed by Grey, then Yellow.

Well, she punched his Legion in a single punch so I guess we know who's canonically stronger now :P

BTW, the shortage of Switch Lite in Japan was the most expected thing honestly. It seems the international market will need some time to get accustomed to the idea but once Pokémon and Holiday comes, then this model will shoot straight fire !!

Haha, something tells me Bayo would be totally into chains. ;)

And yeah, Lite shortages in Japan is hardly a surprise, it was almost inevitable. Hopefully it won't reach the absurd levels where saw in 2017 where hardware sales were severely curtailed.

The game like W101 is a confirmed first party IP, it was in development before Nier:A which if anyone remembers was when rumours of PG working on two other projects for Nintendo outside of B3 were going around.

So if they started back in 2014, I wonder if it was initially planned for the Wii U, or if their target was always Nintendo's next system.

September a month that has frequently yielded significant NDs.

A while back, I predicted a Direct for early September, so somewhere between now and the 10th. I hope I’m right.
