Here you go Smash Bros fans. The game that invented the genre.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Pikmin 4 got some tweaks regarding its most recent update (most notably regarding the Auto-Lock [Off] bug that would lock onto enemies regardless). Very happy to see this!

Also, MP4:Beyond has fallen all the way down to no.15 on UK weekly just one week after launch. (Physical only.) Can’t say this is too unexpected, though… Metroid is necessarily the biggest title for the holidays. Switch 2 version continues to dominate sales for Metroid, meanwhile the opposite holds for Pokémon.

Octopath Traveler 0 does not feature a localization apart from english. Wow. Very disappointed, even though I speak english, obviously. I liked the translation in the other two games a lot.

Because too many people in the UK like buying the exact same football game every year despite the lack of actual changes in each "new" installments.

The wankers at EA Sports are master con artists.

Problem comes from the fact that making a localization for most Euro languages would be quite costly. Game is lengthy with even more text than the other two games.

+ A lot of the leg work comes the English version of the mobile game already.

The cheaper pricetag isn't there for nothing.

Not saying I agree with the decision to kneecap their sales in Europe, but I believe the game's qualities makes up for such if you don't have a problem with your English.

The game is fantastic and 30 hours in, I'm finally getting in the groove of the town building side of the ordeal whilst I finished the game's first act.

It opens from there a lot so can't wait to see the Master of All story adaptation to console here. One of the best stories in the series really.

Metroid debuted 3rd in the UK. In Japan the SW2 version debuted 6th and the SW1 version didn't even chart in the top 10. Let's not pretend it's a UK issue lol.

Of the 14 games ahead of it only one is a football game so... Weird rant lol.

The way things are going I can definitely see myself buying a lot more third party titles on Switch 2 vs Switch 1, both due to more games coming across in general, and a generally higher technical standard for demanding ports.

I own 42 third party titles on Switch 1; in the first 6 months of Switch 2 I already have 7.
