Why are people so defensive in here? I see nobody talking about not playing MP4 because of the score...

I can see how people are surprised though. This is by far the lowest score of the four Prime games.

Nope , I finish each of the palaces the first day they are available and just do side stuff - I just went to mementos for the third time just today.

Prime 4 tomorrow and a continuation of the consecutive months of releases, in the next 2 months we have DQ7 and RE9.

I am really distrusting what people, specially reviewers, are saying about Prime 4, it all seems to be one bandwagon of opinions after the other. Like, why is everyone comparing it so much to Zelda now, and not making a single mention of Metroid Fusion, an extremely linear game that is literally divided into 5 or 6 areas connected by a hub, with a NPC telling you what area to go next and what to do in there *ALL* the time? Fusion is a well beloved and well received Metroid game btw, and the favorite of many fans. Why is Prime 4 not being compared to that?

The decision between Clair Obscur, DKBananza, and MP4:Beyond has to be one of the most difficult I have ever come across in my time playing video games. All three I reeeeaallly want to have played before the year ends, but I only have time for one. Dang!

(Had MP4:Beyond reviewed better, then this would be a much easier situation. With Metroid not matching previous installments, however, I’m hesitating. Especially when I don’t have easy access to $70USD to spend on Prime 4. The thought of playing a game structured like SFAdventures leads me to believe this game could be an all-time great… but IDK.)

Got to Sublayer 102 on DK Bananza

Just exploring and digging through the first layer. I like the depth and detail of the gameplay , it’s pretty fun. 

Also the bonus levels are great

Got the Kong Bananza form and Pauline now which is great

I like the styles shop - one of my favorite aspects of super Mario odyssey was changing Mario’s appearance so it’s great I can do that in this game too.

Costume shops will had the pazas and none of the bad AAA practices of selling overpriced comestics !

(!!!) That’s a new Nintendo film every year through 2028. I’m so excited to see what Nintendo is making here!

Edit— Oh wait… this isn’t an official reveal. Oops. Well, this has been rumored for a while now. Wouldn’t surprise me if we got a DK film for Spring 2028.
