Hmm… the MC/OC score has left me caution on whether to play this game. But this comment sounds extremely promising! I will wait and see what others are saying before picking up.

The choices for the game I’ll be playing this December are: MP4:Beyond, MP1:Remastered, Zelda:OoT, Clair Obscur, Banjo Tooie, and DKBananza. All of these would be a first-time playthrough. Hard call.

Regardless, Prime 4 sounds really good now. ^^

Seriously, I would strongly advise those depressed or discouraged by THAT score to take a chill pill.

In what world is 81-82 a bad score?
So instead of getting a truly fantastic game, we’re only getting a very good game - One that could have turned out much worse give the circumstances.

Because we're concerned about it affecting sales. -_-

If potential buyers are turned off by an 81-82 - They weren’t serious about buying it to begin with and/or their standards are way too damn high.

50, 60, or even 70, I can understand.

But 81-82? C’mon.

Oh no ! Such calamity, my Metroid game is not topping a 90+ score on Metacritic/OC. What masterpiece are we supposed to play now ....

So anyway, can't wait to play the game this Thursday !

MP4 won’t sell like the other large IPs they Nintendo has but I think it will do decently…at least may do better than Kirby air ride which seems to have fallen off the sales charts

I got prime 4 through switch voucher but will play it later

Need to play a few other Metroid games before I play 4 so I can get familiar with the series - only played super on snes

With NSO, prime 1 and dread in my library that shouldn’t be an issue

Hoping for prime 2 and 3 to become available in some way

Anyways I hit 60 hours into my playthrough for persona 5 Royal on switch - just barely finished the third palace so almost halfway done with the game - loving it so much 😆
