It was originally going to be a Switch 1 game, but was moved to Switch 2, much like Mario Kart World, DK Bananza, and Hyrule Warriors.

Not unusual as Astral Chain for example was in development since the Wii, Nintendo is not against moving a game to the next platform if need be.

Welp, here I am learning even more, no with that Astral Chain was first thought on for the Wii ?! 

I know it's gone from a fantasy setting to a sci-fi during it's pre-production, but that was about it.

I just took off a joycon and the screen turned on. Took of the other one and now the console is fine again. WTH? How random is that? Im just glad I dont have to send it in to Nintendo. Also Double Dragon Revive is pretty fun.

Maybe it happened when there was a power outage some hours ago? I dont know.

We have no official figures on sales data, but Switch 2 has shipped 10.36mil WW as of 30 Sept 2025.
