Huh, so for a first year Switch 2 first party major releases...we have Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, Metroid, and Kirby? Heck.

Nothing will ever compare to Switch's first year with Zelda and Mario, but holy crap that's a SOLID start in a little over 6 months. I didn't even like Donkey Kong but I am okay with all of this.

As much as the Zelda/Mario combo weight heavily in the matter, I'd argue the in-between schedule of the Switch 2 has proved so far to be much stronger imo. Especially because of the more readily 3rd party games.

Also let's see how the full first year of the Switch 2 paints out before talking a comparison that implicates a much shorter window of game releases on the later

Is there a Metroid Prime 4 demo out now on Switch 2? Or just at Gamescom?

Why do you keep asking things here that you can find out in like 2 seconds using Google, or just by checking on the eshop?

Because Google isn't always reliable and I like to hear from actual human beings, ok?

Doesnt seem like there's a public demo going by the official page for it on the eshop.

Seems like it was a on show demo but likely get released soon, possibly when Nintendo does their September direct.

They had to do what they did with the Switch 1 considering the WiiU was a utter failure.

Switch 2 got b/c with Switch 1 titles which will get Switch 2 upgrades both free and paid and then you get other titles like the ones you listed. I dont expect another major Zelda title like BotW or ToTK until 2027. We'll probably get more smaller titles like Echoes of Wisdom or remasters/switch 2 upgrades.

I can see them doing another Mario Collection, Wonder's Switch 2 update, and/or if they had another team working on a 3D Mario alongside DK which we dont know about coming out next year - would be perfect with the next Mario bros movie and the fact that we're in the 40th year anniversary for the series.

Yep, its too early to say but from what I'm looking at , I am loving what we got so far and cant wait for the next wave which likely be announced at the next major direct possibly in September.

I'm hoping for more Switch 2 upgrades of Switch 1 games because there's plenty of Switch 1 games I still need to play that I will play on my Switch 2.

If they release a Switch 2 upgrade of Luigi's Mansion 3 that plays at 4K 60 FPS - omg , I would re-play the game just for that even though I beat it few years ago ! lol

True, Nintendo's third party support has gotten exceptionally good and the Switch 2 launched with far better third party support.

Hopefully that September General Direct will be a thing cuz of the mystery surrounding a lot of near future and future releases they've spoke slightly or barely about.

Are we gonna see more of Tomodachi Life and Rhythm Heaven ? Release date for Metroid Prime 4 ?
New details on Kirby Air Riders ?

What about the new games ... Fire Emblem is heavily on everyone's lips for a come back in the form of a remake of FE4, waiting for the next Mario Sports game, new game utilizing the mouse mode to its fullest ?
Honestly, there's a lot more that can be shown there.

That, and I hate AI with a passion stronger than Samus' Plasma Beam.

Google Search now uses Gemini (Google's AI) so a lot of the stuff you see at the top first is all Gemini results.

Speaking of AI, my company is encouraging everyone to use AI lol

We got Microsoft's CoPilot that comes with every license for O365 and then there's ChatGPT which is heavily used by people within my department and other departments.

Our IT Helpdesk system also has a AI built in which the IT Management enabled for us to use lol.
