Big dfference between the market in the NES era and now. Smaller market then and NES was the first to reach that milestone and created the market. NES was a complete revolution of the industry. Mario bros,Zelda the D-pad and licensing. PS4 isn't at all,it's popular and a great console but doesn't do anything new. Only NES was it a massive deal if a friend had one. All the neighborhood kids would come over and have parties & sleepovers just to play NES. Most kids got 1-3 games in a year but always the one kid who had a bunch of them. 60 million in this day and age is still great mind you. It just doesn't mean the same as back then and not nearly as impressive as the 8 bit era. NES had to revive and carve out that market and PS4 is selling to an existing one already.
