The rumor said that Ubisoft and Nintendo had a discussion in march 2016 to make BGE2 a switch exclusive, but the rumor also said they didn't know what has been decided.

Try to actually get the information right instead of blaming the people who tries to give you said info.

BGE2 only started production last december, so it's obvious that Ancel and Ubisoft decided to make BGE2 a fully fledged AAA. 

Leakers sometimes get old info, but an old info is not a wrong info.

Dunno. As far as I know it sold most for PS2, am I wrong? It was also on XBOX and Gamecube.

The Switch-exclusivity was just a stupid rumor. Rumors turn out wrong all the time.

The same leaker also said that they came to the conclusion that BGE2 would be a Switch exclusive for one year. Try being up to date before criticizing other people for getting info wrong.

He's basing it off of a 4chan leak about monster hunter worlds that suggests that Sony did the same for MHW.

Laura has had some good scoops, but she seems pretty unprofessional in that she frequently seems to give way too much detail about who her sources are and often seems not to vet them.

It's good to have her, but take everything she says with a grain of salt IMO.

It would be wise to assume that each 3rd party game with a big production budget (which most 3rd party games are nowadays) will be skipping the Switch. Expecting publishers to suddenly embrace Nintendo only leads to disappointment.
