Forums - Microsoft Discussion - IGN employee says crackdown is fun but ugly

ORLY?!

What happened to the POWAH OF THE CLOUD?!

Can't believe no one calls them out for that BS!

Around the Network

Announced in 2014 and delayed in many occasions.
The long-awaited 2016 Multiplayer Beta was canceled and never rescheduled.
2017 E3's cinematic montage with no gameplay.
It can be finished in 2.5 hours according to the testers.
30 fps with ugly graphics.

What the hell is going on with this game?

One would think Microsoft would've had them showcase the destruction, but it looks like it's not going to reach that bar that was set for the destructions. Hopefully it does.

The game is not ready to show.  Its clear if the game was in a state to show or show beyound what they have previewed for the last couple years it probably would be on the show floor.  Hopfully it is shone at gamescon and playable.

That means the game is going to be pushed back because there is not much time left until November to be making these excuses for them. E3 was the time to impress he largest audience and if Microsoft don't move the date of crackdowns release that game is going to be irrelevant to people with the games coming out in its window. They better fix the destruction they showed so long ago and put the cloud power back in that game because with that false hype that's the last chance the franchise has.

We can only hope that they fix this. I am really concerned for Xbox otherwise.

I don't worry about the Xbox development level for nothing. It's indeed worrisome. One can only hope they push the game back to spring 2018 unless they held back a ton of content.

Push back a great playing game because it might not appease some people graphically LOL.

No, but rather because what they showed at e3 seemed hollow. It also lacked the cloud based destruction they were hyping up. I would be more impressed with Microsoft if they pushed this game back to 2018 to put the finishing touches. If this is what they are showing then it's going ping to get destroyed in November.

Like I told you earlier in the thread, there are plenty of gameplay videos from E3 that look great. Even on the website you snatched this video from. And even in this same video you linked the guy has nothing but positive things to say about the gameplay. You're wanting it delayed for reasons that don't exist. The destruction was multiplayer. They're showing the campaign to the public at E3.

Also, if it were delayed, you'd be one of the first people bitching about how MS has one less 2017 exclusive, lol. You claim to only want good things for Xbox, yet you're ignoring the good things your own video says about a game because you think the graphix sux :)

Not really.  It could be the devs are head down in getting it ready for release so do not want to be wasting time doing E3 demo which does take away from them getting the game to the finish line.  It's evident they have the game to a certain point but sometimes E3 can just get in the way when you need that time for bug testing, polish and finishing touches on content.

If you have really been paying attention to this game you would know the cloud powered destruction is for the multiplayer. If you blew all the buildings up in single player that would mess with the story a bit.
