I'd say 8/10. Would have liked it to be longer but the Treehouse stream is going on right now so if more games keep getting announced there it should be fine then. But in terms of the presentation I thought it was good. Not great, not amazing, but just good.

They had new games like the Kirby and Yoshi games for Switch, unexpected surprises such as Rocket League coming to Switch with cross-play and Metroid Prime 4, Super Mario Odyssey looked incredible, etc. They didn't spend really any time at all on games we've already seen enough of such as Arms and Splatoon 2 which was great, the only time they were shown in the presentation from what I remember was just at the beginning from that Switch commercial. They just focused on games releasing in 2017 and some 2018 games.

Metroid Prime 4 is cool for those who really wanted a new Metroid but it was just simply a title card, it wouldn't have made a difference whether it was announced at this presentation or not lol. Same with the Pokemon announcement where they just said that it was in development.

Seven out of ten at least.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Metroid is nice just to know the style. Is it 2D, Other M, or Prime. It's a prime style game. Nice to know. Not Win E3 though for just a logo.

Pokemon is huge imo, especially after the pokemon direct. It is finaly on a home console. Just as many are excited about MH being on home console now with Worlds, Pokmeon made that jump. But with pokemon, it still keeps fans happy becaus switch is ALSO portable.

It was good, 8/10 maybe. Mario Odyssey looks great, although the realistic humans still look off next to Mario. Some nice games shown, and it's good to know Metroid Prime is coming back. Although considering that they only showed a logo teaser I doubt the game will release until late 2018 at the earliest. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is also looking good. More Kirby is always a good thing as well. Announcing a Pokemon RPG for the Switch is good, but who knows when that'll release.

Thanks Poly!! Right in the wank bank!

I'd rather nothing than a CGI trailer tbh.

Though you can actually learn things about the game from a CGI trailer. It's setting, story, characters. It's better knowing that then just a name, and shows they've actually put some work in. They could have just decided to make the logo this morning for all we know. (they didn't)

I'd rather know nothing than be misled.

Would rather have new announcements than same shit from two conferences ago as well. Nintendo used their 25 minutes wisely!!

8/10

Metroid Prime 4 confirmed to be a real thing
Pokemon 'Mainline' Switch confirmed to be a real thing
Xenoblade 2 still be releasing this year.

Only way to get a 10/10 would be to confirm an Animal Crossing. Needed Virtual Console for a 9

I mean yeah obviously those games just simply being announced for Switch will create hype lol so it was a good move on Nintendo. I guess both will be 2018 games? Or at least Pokemon i'm guessing probably will, who knows about Metroid since for all we know maybe that hasn't been in development for too long lol since I would think if it was in development for a while they would have tried to have even a short clip of gameplay to show quickly.
