Do people care enough to complain to E.A yet?

I'm happy we're getting a FIFA game in the first place, the switch isn't as powerful as PS4 or XB1, sorry, if EA had to downgrade the game slightly to get it to run on the switch then honestly that's 100% fine. Not having the Frostbyte engine isn't the end of the world as long as the core gameplay is solid.

Fans can say "Talk with your wallets" all they want, but if the Switch consumer base doesn't end up buying this EA will just abandon Nintendo again for another console generation. As far as I see it EA is actually trying to jump through hoops to make this work, a FIFA game is better than no FIFA game, plain and simple.

The only sport game I want on switch is NCAA football again. I miss it so much. I don't care about soccer much.

Too little info yet. To be fair, FIFA on Vita was kind of shit as well, handheld FIFA was never the same. And with EA's "unprecedented" support of Nintendo consoles in the past decade or so, we could be in for something underwhelming. I'm hoping that's not the case though, an actual good FIFA release would really help them in Europe, which seems to be their weakest region by far, FIFA is life here.

Uh, what's going on with the game? Is the Switch version lacking something?

My view is that it isn't PES on Wii so I do not care at all.

Seriously, why didn't Konami just make PSE Wii U like PES on Wii so I could have the greatest sports experience in HD? I could give a fuck about Fifa.

The people who care about FIFA on Switch, are casual players who does not go on video game forums or website, and probably will never realize that the Switch version is a crappy one before buying it.

So EA is basically and legally scamming people into buying a poorly made version of the game, it will be poorly received, and then EA will say "We don't think there is a market for EA games on Switch".

That's the good thing about multi platform. You're never stuck with the only shitty version there is but you have actual choice. Now imagine if this lesser version was the only one available. That's how everyone else feels about Nintendo exclusives.
