You are not wrong, and that's exactly it! A Gen7 3rd version for 3DS only is less of a big deal than remakes like OR/AS which only got a randomly dropped trailer for it's initial reveal. That Nintendo is hyping this up means it has to be something bigger than that.

It might be some mobile thing. I don't think they have "Stars" ready for this year. Maybe next year.

well yeah the supply would be insanely deficient from the demand... i still yet to see a switch for 299$!

Well after some research, while the Stars codename does redirect to the main site, apparently so does anything ending with the letter "i" thus this doesn't confirm the existence of the game. Still, Eurogamer's credibility is too good and there's many signs pointing to Pokemon on Switch, so nothing changes there.
