Forums - Nintendo - Switch Pro Controller is Nintendo's best controller ever.

I've honestly never had any issue with any controller ever except for the huge original XBox controller. I've never understood why people always go on about some controllers being better than others. They're all about the same to me.

Wii and WiiU Pro controllers felt incredibly cheap and clunky.

While I agree the Wii Pro controller was a pile of shit (who had the great idea to connect it with a cable to the Wiimote - and the design itself was also bad), but the WiiU Pro Controller was okayish. I agree though, that the Switch Pro Controller is better. I can't exactly say why, they look very similar (and the placement of right stick and facebuttons is it not for my, I don't care which way). But it still feels good to take it into my hands.

NES and SNES controllers are their best imo.

It took 16 years, but Nintendo has finally made a controller better than the Gamecube controller.

I hope you're being facetious, the Gamecube controller was a turd.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I've tried it out while waiting to get a Switch, and it is pretty good, but it does feel a bit small to me.

It is pretty damn good, yes.

I still like the Wii U Pro better. Better stick placement, button placement, and better feeling triggers.

Nintendo invented the D-Pad, Shoulder Buttons, Analog Stick, and Triggers. The original Dualshock was just a SNES controller with erganomic grips, and analog sticks duct taped to the top. Nintendo has never stopped and likely will never stop experimenting with new controle schemes. The next big break in controls will come from them, I gauruntee it.

Feels so good in hand. It's missing some features that the competition has but it may be the best feeling controller I have ever held.

Agreed, I honestly don't think the Gamecube controller is that amazing outside of Smash Bros, and I can't stand the gloss finish on the Wii U Pro.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I actually like the glossyness of it myself.
