Hmm, it depends. If Nintendo held back quite a bit, they'll have a decent shot.

Is Nintendo even doing a conference this year?  Or are they sticking with the Treehouse/Direct thing?  If the latter, I don't really count that as competing for E3.  I'm sure they'll have some good announcements and it will be enough to keep Nintendo fans happy, but in general, I don't think it's going to wow the gaming audience at large.

I feel your pain.  I live about 20 mins from Ocean City, MD, a pretty big resort town.  But, they never do it here.  And I don't feel like driving 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to watch this.  I'll just be streaming it to my TV, again.

I really don't see a reason that Sony doesn't allow PS1 titles, at least through the store, to be played on the PS4.  I would also love for them to come up with an emulator that adds the benefits that PS2 titles see on the PS4 (AA added and rendered at 1080p.)  They don't even need to worry about Trophy support.

There is not going to be any live press conference from Nintendo.

They're doing a Direct, and I count it as E3 because it's during E3.

Not counting the competition, is one way to win I guess... ;)

Their digital event's can be great if 2014 is anything to go by. But it's too soon to say who will perform better, but everyone has a decent shot this year I think, I can see it going either way across the big 3! It'll be an interesting E3 for every company this year for sure!

My prediction for PlayStation E3 2017 Press conference:

Square-Enix will tease Final Fantasy XVI with a 10-seconds CGI trailer that will say "Now in Development". Game will come out until 2027.

I'm joking but I really can see Square-Enix doing something like this

Same for nintendo, because they only focus on 2017 games.

I wanted to see a little more of fire emblem (the real FE, not the musou), or just a surprise like advance wars or whatever else.

If both of those games launch this year, im going to flip. Lets hope Sony makes sure the games were made with love. We want the best quality products possible as consumers. There are already enough games coming out so we can wait, to be honest.
