You want to talk about shutting down speeches... now look at your thread title. What does it say? ABC cancels a show.

Do you get it now? Because it's impossible to show your contradictions in simpler terms. Not to mention how you try to peg politics into this.

A show got canceled. Grow up. It happens. It's no conspiracy theory, it's business.

The "american" right is very different from a "european" right. It's much more libertarian. The nazi party was big into gun control, publicly run education, publicly run health care, access to abortion, pretty much all american left check boxes, and yes, very socialist.

People on the US seem to forget that the Democratic party always stood for racism, segretation, etc. MLK was solidly a republican himself. Something about people taking responsibility for themselves and their families.

Hollywood and the media are solid left, as in 90+% tracked by public political donation records.

That all being said, I can see how increasing cast salaries could cause a show to be cancelled. Revenue (or viewership) != profitability.

I just watched an episode to get a jist of what this thread was about.
Was this show really that popular? Because it was like Home Improvement, but not nearly as entertaining.
Anyway, I don't see how this beats modern family in rating.

Lastly, watching an episode reminded me of something. How is this a conservative leaning show? The episode I watched they are trying to get the kids to go to church, but there's like an acceptance of lying to each other and manipulation, and it's just like, you know that the left also cares about church and family values, right?
I just don't get it.

The Nazi's started out as a workers party but once Hitler gained power and the night of the long knives happens anything left leaning was pretty much removed from the party and the ended up becoming pro big buisness and anti union and workers rights.  They had absolulty no problem with companies paying their workers slave wages and actually using slave labor.

Nope MLK Jr started out having no strong political affiliations with either parties and ended up supporting the Democratic Party towards the end of his live.  By the end of his life he was seen as a radical by both parties and that is probably one of the main reasons he was assinated he was planning a poor peoples march on Washington before he got killed that would have put both parties and the entire country in a bad spotlight.  MLK Sr on the other hand started out as Republican and then switched over to being a Democrat after the party helped his son out when he got jailed.

People often seem to forget that freedom doesn't mean protecting what is popular. Freedom means protecting that what isn't popular. So in a way this is neglect of free speach. People are hypocritical as fuck though, first they walk in Paris calling out Je Suis Charlie and now they are focusing on silencing the opinions they don't agree with.

Also the Nazis main enemies where always the communist so even when they started out they wheren't that left leaning.  Anyway pretty much anybody with a basic knowledge of history classifies the Nazi party as far right wing party.

Had it been a shit show with shit ratings this would be easy. ABC cancelled the show despite its success because for their Alinsky based strategy to work you can't let a popular show that runs against your ideology exist.

In order to fully brainwash the populace the left cannot have any viewpoints present other than their own. The reason is simply, leftist views against conservative views get BTFO when examined on an equal plain. In order for the left to actually convince people it has to remove all other views.

I didn't even know Last Man Standing was a thing that existed. It LOOKS like it's probably a worse version of a show I would sometimes have on when I did the dishes, or was too sick to move, back in the 90's: Home Improvement. I've just learnt about it, yet feel I've seen every episode 9 times. If this show were a member of the X-Men, it's mutant power would be to rob me of my erection.
