I thought that would be Spirit Tracks.

I don't think people consider it a mainline Zelda, but it's still way better than Skyward Sword imo.

Skyward Sword is very clearly the Zelda that receives most hate nowadays. Everytime I see anyone talking about bad Zelda games, it's the first one people mention, or it's always the one people talk about when they're like "Zelda is great, except that one". Wind Waker maybe got more hate in 2002, but nowadays is a mostly beloved game in the series, and Zelda 2 I feel people just don't care about.

I guess there's also plenty of people who love Skyward Sword, so there is a counterbalance, but in terms of sheer hate it's definitely the most hated game in the series.

In terms of hate I'd rank them this way (based on my experience with Zelda threads):

1.-Phantom Hourglass

2.-Spirit Tracks

3.-Skyward Sword

4.-Zelda II

Triforce Heroes would also be up there but not sure if it's considered a mainline Zelda.

Anyway, I don't care what the consensus is or whatever, I will forever love Skyward Sword <3

I think Actraiser 2 is MUCH better than the original.  I didn't see what the big deal was about the sim portions.  And the side scrolling portions were destroyed by those in the second game.  And the second one is hard as fuck!

Oh yeah, being a Sonic fan this is pretty easy for me as I could pick almost any 3 games hehe. I'll just go with Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Unleashed.

I don't really know if these are even that hated or not they've got low enough metacritic scores so here goes:

-MySims
-Diddy Kong Racing DS
-Mario Party 8 (which I consider to be one of my favourite Mario Party titles next to Mario Party DS)

Comes to mind only one game - FFXIII. I know it had major issues, but I really enjoyed combat system and music, and of course graphics was one of the best at the time.
