should been obvious after the failed military coup and how the dictator in Turkey handled journalists, protestors, etc., - that things were going to be headed to a dark age for Turkey.
They have a supreme leader and extreme control over media and politics (as in no opposite parties). you'll notice a trend of corruption in ANY countries where they either do not have rules to limit the length of term of a leader OR a leader somehow magically entirely ignores said rules to limit their terms

when your country has 3 news stations that all say the same things and you've had the same leader for a decade then just a friendly MEMO: you're likely in a dictatorship and I'd be careful what you say politically in public (or what you search online)
