Populism at its best. Not saying populism is to blame, but it kind of seems like a lot of dictators were (or are) populists (but not vice versa, obviously). Feel free to vote for populists, people, but please, please keep this possibility in mind when deciding whether your candidate really is trustworthy. This is exactly what 'strong leadership' can lead to at worst.
