This is impossible based on Cleveland's salary cap. They have the highest payout among all NBA teams, and they cant just get rid of albatrosses of contracts like Tristan Thompson, George Hill, and JR Smith. These 3 have over 30% of the cap space, and they have next to no trade value. This idea that the Cavaliers can somehow obtain big talent through trades is downright baffling to me, let alone signing a guy of DeAndre Jordan's stature.

If you ask me the best place for Lebron to go is the Pelicans. You can get rid of Solomon Hill and E'twan Moore much easier than any of the Cavs listed while keeping Boogie, and if you have to you can trade Jrue. This could create a lineup of Rondo, James, Mirotic, Davis, and Cousins. I'm not saying theyd win it all, but it's better then anything I see happening in Cleveland.

I'd honestly be shocked if Lebron goes anywhere out west

he would because the celtics are the team to beat next season in the east. they could even challenge the warriors if healthy

You know, there’s one sleeper team that nobody is talking about that I can see LeBron going to: the San Antonio Spurs.
If there’s one coach in the NBA that LeBron has the utmost respect and would absolutely be willi g to play for or listen carefully to, it’s Gregg Popovich. And come on, going from Tyronn Lue to Pop, LeBron doesn’t have to do half the cosching and he can just focus on playing. And they have a well established system that can get them gets production out of everyone. Depending on what the siuation is with Kawhi, the Spurs should look into the possibility lity of adding LeBron. With a player like him, working with Pop, and a supporting cast led by Aldridge, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli who are always going to bring it. That could give the Warriors a very serious challenge.

Ddit: Plus, it would be immensely hilarious to see Skip Bayless having an identity crisis over the fact that the man he has made a lot of money bashing and criticizing unforgivingly suddenly playing for “his Spurs.”

Yeah, that is pretty much the only team in the West I could see him going to.

The Spurs are really old though and I don't think Lebron can mask for their problems of athleticism and lack thereof. I'm not a huge Lebron fan so I could care less if he succeeds, but I cant see how a move would benefit him when the Spurs promote team ball and Lebron wants it to be all about him.

If you ask me, the 3 places I'd like to see Lebron go, it would be...

1. New Orleans- to me it's the best fit. He'd probably be tarnishing his overall legacy a bit by teaming up with two Hall of Famers in Davis and Boogie, but this IMO is his best shot out west to make the Finals.

2. Portland-they have salary cap hell, but I could see a sign and trade where they send McCollum and a few others to the Cavs for Lebron. Him teaming up with Lillard is a question mark because Lebron has never played with a player of Lillard's quality, but it's best for his legacy and he'd have a solid bench around him.

3. Denver-this has absolutely no chance in hell happening, but I'd like to imagine Lebron with Jokic, Milsap, Harris, and Murray. That starting 5 could contend with anyone and Lebron is most likely the best man on his team.

Also, if Lebron joins Philly or Houston, that's a KD caliber move and I'd lose a bit more respect of the man.

Cousins trade to Celtics. Lebron trade to Sixers. Paul George trade to Lakers. Leonard trade to Rockets.

OKC has a player option with George if he decides to stay there one more year he will get paid a little over $20 million dollars.  But if he decides to sign with the Lakers they don't have to trade anybody to OKC to get him.  Also Cousins is a complete free agent he can sign with anybody.  LeBron is in the same deal as George but if he goes to the 76ers there probably is going to be some trades involved to make it work salary cap wise for both teams.

Lillard is actually not that good he is pretty overrated.  He played with a player better then him before when he played with Kyrie for two years.  Plus his first couple of years with the Heat D Wade was still almost as good as Lillard.  Him going to the Pelicans probably wouldn't work out salary cap wise they can either resign Cousins or get LeBron  I doubt the have enough cap space to sign both players the only team that has enough cap space to sign both LeBron and Cousins is the Lakers.

Also him going to Denver would not work cap wise either Denver pretty much has little to no cap space.  The only way that would work out if Denver trades Paul Milsap and some other players or draft picks to Cleveland to get him.

lol what? Almost? Wade was wayyyy better than Lillard has ever been. Dwyane Wade is a top 5 SG all time. No offense to Lillard, he's a nice player….but he ain't even in prime Wade's area code, and the first two years Lebron spent in Miami, Wade was definitely still in his prime.

Like I said I figured it isn't likely. All you really have to do is trade Milsap and Plumlee and you've cleared over $40 million, but again, I could never see Lebron playing in Denver.

As for the other two, I don't agree that Lillard is overrated, I just think he needs a different piece other than CJ and 8 role players. He puts up great numbers in the regular season, and if you're gonna throw him into the choking in the playoff camp, you have to also admit that DeRozan, Westbrook, and Harden are overrated. I think that both DeRozan and Westbrook are overrated, but Harden is someone I cant say is overrated.
