Will people use logic for once and preorder it with time... or they'll just wait for a miracle and expect to find a nice number of them stacked in the store and then proceed to whine on the forums because that didn't happen?

The NES Mini and the upcoming (if true) SNES Mini are hot items. Rare. Collector material almost. Is like the special editions of some games. Not everyone will get one. If you really want one, you have to preorder it whenever it becomes available.

Well, I know some of the people who preordered NES Mini summer 2016 did not get their systems.

Isn't it by a mile?

No. NES library is better. SNES has it's gems that can compete with the top NES games, but NES has a lot wider range of great games than SNES.

I like the 4th gen much more than the 3rd gen. 2D games were really refined and improved, and fighting games became big during that time.

Super Mario Allstars compared to the NES originals is a good leap forwards, and really they're the only NES games I cared about. Snes library is way better than the Nes imo, but Nes was before my time.

Yesssssss

Well, I like the NES, too. I was born in '98, so by the time I was 2 the Dreamcast and PS2 were already out. However, my first console was the Genesis, followed by the PS1.

Nintendo's really helping those scalpers pay off their mortgages on their brand new summer homes.

Honestly, fuck them. I'm still so peeved that I was never able to get the nes classic that I'm not gonna bother stressing about this one, which will undoubtedly be equally impossible to get.

Nah, SNES has quite a bit more than just a few gems.

Super Mario World, A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, FF4, FF5, Mario Kart, DK Country, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Super Ghost n Ghouls, Super Metroid, Earthworm Jim, Kirby's Island, F-Zero, Yoshi's Island, several great Disney games, Star Fox, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man X, Harvest Moon, Mystic Quest, Mario Paint, Ogre Battle, Breath of Fire and more stuff.

The entire NES library combined can't even compete against the first 5.

Of course, it sucks for the ones who got their preorders cancelled because some stores don't do their job well and take more preorders than they can fulfill. But those are minority. My complaint is about those who don't preorder and maybe don't even go to the store day one and still hope to see NES Mini everywhere at any time. This is not a 3DS. This is not a Switch. This is a rare product not meant for such mass production. If you want it, you have to actively look for it from the moment it's announced.

Hm. I'm already playing SNES games on my NES Mini thanks to Hakchi. That controller would be nice though. Hopefully it gets 2 GB of storage so the whole SNES library can fit on it. Would probably buy it!

One on one fighting games were better on SNES (for obvious reasons), but NES had a beat-em-up library SNES can't even touch. 2D games were refined, but they weren't as good, for the most part. Also the racing games were better on SNES.

You forgot Super Star Wars games and Turtles. You could pick Doom and Jurassic Park too.

Some of the games, like Super Mario RPG was never released here on the SNES. It's not that I wouldn't think the majority of games on your list being good, it's just that they can't match NES.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

yeah baby. I'm preordering 3 and scalping 2 of them .
