Well, I know some of the people who preordered NES Mini summer 2016 did not get their systems.

No. NES library is better. SNES has it's gems that can compete with the top NES games, but NES has a lot wider range of great games than SNES.

I like the 4th gen much more than the 3rd gen. 2D games were really refined and improved, and fighting games became big during that time.

One on one fighting games were better on SNES (for obvious reasons), but NES had a beat-em-up library SNES can't even touch. 2D games were refined, but they weren't as good, for the most part. Also the racing games were better on SNES.

Nah, SNES has quite a bit more than just a few gems.

Super Mario World, A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, FF4, FF5, Mario Kart, DK Country, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Super Ghost n Ghouls, Super Metroid, Earthworm Jim, Kirby's Island, F-Zero, Yoshi's Island, several great Disney games, Star Fox, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man X, Harvest Moon, Mystic Quest, Mario Paint, Ogre Battle, Breath of Fire and more stuff.

The entire NES library combined can't even compete against the first 5.

You forgot Super Star Wars games and Turtles. You could pick Doom and Jurassic Park too.

Some of the games, like Super Mario RPG was never released here on the SNES. It's not that I wouldn't think the majority of games on your list being good, it's just that they can't match NES.
