Super Mario Allstars compared to the NES originals is a good leap forwards, and really they're the only NES games I cared about. Snes is way better than the Nes imo, but Nes was before my time.

Well, I like the NES, too. I was born in '98, so by the time I was 2 the Dreamcast and PS2 were already out. However, my first console was the Genesis, followed by the PS1.
